Koydo can introduce families and tutors for free. A family subscription unlocks in-product messaging. Search placement is not sold and no referral fee is deducted.

Tutors stay independent

Tutors set rates, hours, teaching terms, and curriculum; work under their own name; remain free to use competing services; and accept or reject each inquiry.

Subscriptions fund Koydo

Tutors can subscribe to the workspace. Families can subscribe for learning, practice, progress, and AI help. Mobile purchases use ordinary platform IAP.

Simple boundaries for tutors and families

Koydo does not collect lesson payments, hold balances, issue lesson credits, refund tutoring, or pay tutors. Families and tutors settle lesson fees directly.
Matching is always free during Stage 0: zero percentage, zero per-introduction fee, and zero deduction from tutor earnings.
Every public tutor must clear identity and background screening. Tutors buy the screening through secure web Stripe checkout at the provider service cost plus 20%. Payment never guarantees clearance or changes search position.
Approved education programs may buy Koydo-owned learner subscriptions or educational software through their approved vendor channel. Program funds never become tutor lesson money or cash-like platform value.
